Lost Island Lodge

lake We Fish:
Lac Seul
Description:
You will be amazed by the great fishing Lac Seul has to offer. Walleye in abundance are a daily occurrence whether it be spring, summer or fall. Northern fishing is excellent all summer long, August and September are better for Bass. While Lac Seul is not known for large numbers of musky, it has produced some of the world’s largest fresh water trophies. Lac Seul is approximately 100 miles long with more than 700 square miles of water. The natural beauty of this lake is spectacular. There are thousands of miles of shore line, hundreds of islands and reefs too numerous to count. There is always somewhere new to fish or explore and discover new "favourite spots". Shane, Chris, Sam & Staff want this to be your BEST TRIP EVER!

"The Last Resort II NEW!!"
by Irene Williams
Book Abstract:    "Many people have suggested that "The Last Resort" would make an excellent movie. When I suggested that to my husband, Jim, he thought that Bette Milder would play Mum's part well. Lonnie Anderson could play me and he would play himself! I didn't go for that idea but who knows...
All kidding aside, a big "Thanks Mum" to our mother for the many sacrifices she made for us daily. If we could all have mothers like ours, the world would be a special place."

"The Last Resort" - A Camp Owner's Story
by Irene Williams
Book Abstract:    "...He had written to Arthur asking him if he would like to run his hunting and fishing lodge at Wine Lake. I asked Arthur what kind of lodge that was. He said it was cabins out in the wild where hunters and fishers could stay during hunting and fishing season. Well, it didn't sound very exciting to me so when Arthur asked me to go with him, I said no. It was only Indians that lived in places like that. I suppose I shouldn't have said that but I did. I was very surprised when Arthur agreed to go without me. That meant that I would have to get in the wood, water, see to the garbage and do the shopping. It was the water that I didn't like getting. I had to go up the lane, cross a field and get the water from a well. It was hard work and I hated it. I couldn't believe that Arthur would go and leave me alone..."
